A Life In Black and White

In shoe boxes, under beds, in junk shops and car boot sales everywhere, there are black and white photos taken by generations gone by. These photos document the high streets, houses and holidays of the past. This website seeks to act as a portal to display a bygone time, and also to draw on a collective knowledge to identify forgotten places and people.
